HOW HAVE I GOT HERE?

Which projects have you enjoyed? Why?

- I enjoyed book project. I made a book for my travelling records and that is very meaningful work for me. Also, i enjoyed selfie project too. I worked with my partner and had time to know each other. We could experiment to take various picture and i really liked this project because we could enjoy our work together.

Which projects have you loathed? Why?

- Alchemy of design project is hard for me. The topic i choose was osmosis and we had to make short video or gifs. However, osmosis is not what people can see, so it was not easy to express about osmosis. To delivery what osmosis is easily, I made a story, but i think this story can't make people understand about osmosis. It's really hard to make storytelling and make people understand something.

Is it more important to you that your work is entertaining or informative or shocking or beautiful? Why?

- I hope my work is entertaining. To feel entertaining for people from my work means my work make people feel good and i think it is very worthy.

During, the course of Part 2, has your approach to working on a brief changed? how?

- When i start the course, i used to think only final work and didn't care about research. But, now my first step of project is to think about research. Also, i didn't have material experiment process, but during part 2 course, I have tried to experiment many material.

When presented with a brief, how do you get started? Are there other ways to get going?

- When i see my brief first, i always think the purpose of the project, make my idea and start to research.

What are some of the best ways to develop your initial ideas?

- To record such as draw or note my initial idea, make the idea to work, changed some part and make better and better.

What are your particular skills? Do you draw on them all? How? What other skills would be useful to learn?

- I always draw or take some picture. Drawing is easier than note to me.

How much use do you make of the research you do? Which aspects of your research are most useful?

- I got some information from my research. Knowing many information means i can make more informative and accurate design. Also, sometimes, i learn something through research . It's useful for not only my work but also my life.

Do you find contextual research useful? Why? Why not?

- Contextual research give me information what i want or find.

Which have been your most successful ways of visualizing your ideas and developments?

- Recording as draw or take picture is better than note because i think image is easier to show my ideas than note.

Which parts of your design process would benefit from greater attention?

- Experiment part

Who do you go to for feedback during a project? What effect does this feedback have on your work?

- my friends, my peers in class and tutor. I have some crit time and can listen their opinions of my group members. I listen various opinions of various aspects and think wider about my work.

What would you like to achieve in the course of your FMP?

- I want to learn something from FMP like that i learned something from other work.
